Fitness Transformation: Workout 2

Hi Everyone!

Today I had a very special guest join me for a workout: my brother-in-law, Josh. We did a full body workout, and he finished with 20 minutes on the treadmill of running and walking. The workout video is below, and is the second workout I have created for Josh.

Below, is a quick interview with Josh, talking about his goals, and what he would like to achieve with his workouts. I love the goals that he set, and I know that he will be able to achieve them.

I am really excited to be a part of Josh's Fitness Transformation, and I'm glad he is willing to share it with everyone here. :)

I hope you all enjoy the workout, and thanks for giving Josh support to achieve his goals!
Melissa

  2. You inspire me to not give up which is something I struggle with daily. Do you ever offer nutrition advice? I've cleaned up my diet but am frustrated by my lack of progress. I don't know what I should be doing differently to lose the last 10-20 lbs. I know my diet is to blame. Any suggestions?

    1. What is your diet like right now? I am going to be posting more about nutrition. Also, I am on myfitnesspal.com user name BenderFitness. I don't always log my food, but I have been pretty consistent lately. :)

  3. This is so great Melissa! I love your idea of helping a family member and sharing it with us as well.

This is way better than The Biggest Loser because it's so real. And the fact that you are sharing the workouts with us means that we can try them to. I'll be honest with you, I am more willing to try a workout that you've planned with Josh in mind than some of the harder ones that you do with such perfect form. Watching him hold his hips too high and making minor form mistakes makes me realize that the majority of us probably do not look as fabulous as you when we are doing these exercises. I am writing this workout down and taking it to the gym with me tomorrow.

I'll be tuning in to follow Josh's progress. I also hope to make some strides myself to better fitness in the coming months. Thanks again!!

    1. Hi Sandy,

Thank you for the support. I think Josh is going to make amazing progress. He will be back for another workout tomorrow. I think it takes a lot of courage to share your journey, and I am glad that he is able to help inspire you. Keep working toward your goals and you will achieve them all. :)

  4. I just found your website. This is a great series. Your brother-in-law looks just like me (essentially). If he can do it then I have hope. Seeing a regular guy doing it has given me that final push of inspiration to do it myself. I'm on my way now thanks to you and Josh. Thanks.
