Hi Everyone!

Tonight’s workout is focused on the core. Sometimes in winter it’s easy to forget to work your midsection. Bulky sweaters just don’t seem to provide the same motivation as a swim suit.

Having a strong core is important year round. Your core supports your spine, impacts your balance, and helps maintain the alignment of your hips. If your core is weak your entire body is impacted.

This workout combines cardio intervals to maximize your fat burn, with strength training movements to work all of the muscles in your core. To reveal your abs it’s important to combine both aspects (cardio and strength) during your workout.

Enjoy!
Melissa

  1. Thanks for doing this!! I have fallen off and on the excercise wagon a lot!! But I’ve been prego 8 times in 15 years so whatever:). I couldn’t keep up with your pace but did pretty well considering!! I just did regular planking at the end since my core is pretty week! Lol! Thanks again!!

  2. I literally peeled myself off the floor after 3 rounds of advanced on this…whew! Thanks again Melissa for motivating me to push myself!

Side note: I know this was for abs, and they felt it…but DANG my arms are tired from all those mountain climbers!!! 😛 Bonus!

  3. WhooooEE! Wow… I think I officially hate mountain climbers now! LOL This was a great workout. Thanks so much Melissa! I love that you provide your workouts for everyone out here, love your view on it. Gonna keep with this, seeing results already!
